FAMILY BOARD HAITI COMMITTEE

FUNCTION:

• Review Country program strategy
  

• Has responsibility for administrative and financial matters
  

• Hires and appraise the Director of Development of the FAMILY Institute of Haiti.
  

• Manage financial resources to ensure honesty and cost-effectiveness.
  

• Provide guidance on program areas
  

• Provide guidance on project planning and implementation
  

• Contribute in the preparation of work plans for the FAMILY Institute of Haiti.
  

• Review and analyze quarterly reports, semi-annual, annual reports for submission to the Board.
  

• Serve as Liaison between Director of Development and the Board of directors.

LOCAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

FUNCTION:

• Voluntary membership typically representative of all social and geographic sectors
  

• Renewable One-Year terms
  

• Help develop country  strategy to ensure synergy and impact as well as to facilitate program administration,
  

• Contribute to project design,
  

• Considers and advise whether proposals are feasible
  

• Considers what kind of technical support is needed
  

• Undertake site visits and review to advise on design of grant proposals, ensures monitoring and evaluation
  

• Serve as ambassadors for FAMILY nationwide
