In response to a community survey in 2007, FAMILY partnered with the Codman Square Health Center and others in the community to bring a weekly Farmers' Market to the neighborhood.
Celebrating fresh food, healthy living, and local farmers, our market has been a great success! It offers the opportunity to purchase shares through a CSA program, and is SNAP/EBT-compatible.
CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture means you buy a share of groceries that will be pre-packaged for you every week for you and your family to enjoy– enough vegetables (and sometimes other add-ins like eggs, cheese, bread, or honey) to fill two large shopping bags. A Family Share for 19 weeks is $550; a Half Share for 19 weeks is $325.
It is conveniently located just outside the Codman Square Health Center every Thursday from 1-6pm June 25th through October 29.
